Village of Almond Board Minutes September 12, 2016

Village Board Meeting September 12, 2016 Board Members: K. Stucker, K. Olson, J. Riggenbach, B. Roehrborn. Visitors: Dan Folan President K. Trzebiatowski called the meeting to order at 7pm. K. Olson made a motion and seconded by B. Roehrborn to approve the minutes from the August meeting. Motion carried 4-0. J. Riggenbach made a motion and seconded by K. Stucker to approve the Treasurers report. Motion carried 4-0. K. Olson made a motion and seconded by B. Roehrborn to purchase a Flow Meter for the Sewer Dept. at a price of $7270.00. Motion carried 4-0. It was decided to stay with the Parking Ordinance 7-1-3B as it is. The discussion on the Ordinance to prohibit planting on the Village right away was tabled until the next meeting. J. Riggenbach made a motion and seconded by K. Olson to have the Building Inspector look at the Property at 247 Blaine St. if the owner has not responded to our letter within the ten day period. Motion carried 4-0. CMOM was discussed and close to being done. J. Riggenbach made a motion and seconded by K. Olson to approve the 3rd pay request to Earth for $6051.95. We are holding back $2000.00 and there is a one year warranty after final approval of the project. Motion carried 4-0. The total for Elm St. is $533,890.99. K. Olson made a motion and seconded by K. Stucker to grant Operators license to Jamie Schultz and Deborah Bunk. Motion carried 4-0. Thank notes were read from United Methodist Women for use of Building for the Tater Toot Bake Sale and from the Almond Area Arts Alliance for use of the area to the South of the Fire House for their games for Tater Toot.
