Village Board Minutes Nov 14, 2016

Village Board Meeting November 14, 2016 Board Members Present: B. Roehrborn, R. Burns, K. Olson, J. Riggenbach, S. Bunders. Visitors: Art Pagel, Robert Rohde, Joan Rohde, Dan Folan. President K. Trzebiatowski called the meeting to order at 7pm. K. Olson made a motion and seconded by B. Roehrborn to approve the minutes of the October Meeting. Motion carried 5-0. K. Olson made a motion and seconded by J. Riggenbach to accept the Treasurers report. Motion carried 5-0. K. Olson made a motion and seconded by S. Bunders to approve the November disbursements. Motion carried 5-0. B. Roehrborn made a motion and seconded by R. Burns to purchase new Vacuum Cleaner. Motion carried 5-0. The final cost of the tires went over $600.00 because of Tie Rod ends. J. Riggenbach made a motion and seconded by S. Bunders to approve the Fire Dept. Budget with a $1700.00 addition. Motion carried 5-0. K. Olson made a motion and seconded by R. Burns to not pave the Village Right of Way on Division St. and 4thSt. Motion carried 5-0. K. Olson made a motion and seconded by J. Riggenbach to Lease a Pay Loader from Pagel Construction Co. for $1650.00 per Month for five months. Motion carried 5-0. K, Olson made a motion and seconded by S. Bunders to adjourn to the Budget Hearing at 8pm. Motion carried 5-0. After discussion Robert Rohde approved the 2017 Budget. J. Riggenbach made a motion and seconded by S. Bunders to go into regular session. Motion carried 5-0. B. Roehrborn made a motion and seconded by J. Riggenbach to Adopt the 2017 Budget. Motion carried 5-0. K. Olson made a motion and seconded by R. Burns to approve Ordinance 4-7-4(B) No person shall plant any shrub or tree in the Village Right of Way without the written permission of the Village Board. The current Ordinance numbered 4-7-4(B) shall renumbered 4-7-4(C). Motion carried 5-0. B. Roehrborn made a motion and seconded by K. Olson to accept te Collection Site Job Description. Motion carried 5-0. K. Olson made a motion and seconded by J, Riggenbach to send a letter to Dennis Felton. Motion carried 5-0. Mike Isso has said that he would take care of the Tree problems on his property. B. Roehborn made a motion and seconded by K. Olson to place a Foster Care Banner in the Veterans Park for one month.
