President K. Trzebiatowski called the meeting to order at 6:40pm – Public meeting on rezoning of land from residential to Class B1 Business land to allow equipment to be held on it.

Rick Iwanski expressed his concerns: Cutting of all the tress/scrub brush and wanting the dirt road to be black topped, (this is a private road, more traffic now) as this is causing an increase of sand blowing around.  He stated that after the village increased his taxes 210% in taxes, they raised rent to their occupants.  He also stated that they had property with a shed that was zoned Class B1 Business, changed to residential, then changed back to Class B1.   Another concern of his was the lightening from the adjourning property is shining on their property and would like something to be done about that.  He brought pictures of the lighting problem.  Another concern of his was the drainage issues in the area, which is an ongoing issue.  He has had these concerns in the past and was to speak with the farmer in the area to see if there was something that could be done.  He did not talk to the farmer in question to the north of their property.  Discussed a culvert that is present and who is responsible for it.  Either the town or the railroad.  He was requesting that the ditch on County D be kept open to help with the drainage.

Rick was also concerned because Begg’s had called the sheriff’s dept about some kids riding on their property.  Was not one of Iwanski’s.  Also concern about neighboring kids being on this property and getting hurt on the equipment.

Al Pagel expressed his concerns representing land owner Tom Lamb (His father – in- law) about the value of the property decreasing.  Would like to see some kind of trees/shrubs buffer to divide the property and maintain the beauty of the property and willing to work together the surrounding land owners to get this done.  He was also concerned about the drainage issue, as this is an ongoing issue for this area., and the safety of the young kids in the area.

B Roehrborn made a motion, seconded by J. Riggenbach to reschedule this Public Meeting as the Begg’s had an emergency and were unable to attend and represent themselves.  K. Trzebiatowski will come up with a future date and let all parties know. Motion approved 5-0

B. Roehrborn made a motion, seconded by K. Olsen to adjourn.  Motion approved 5-0
