Board Regular Meeting

March 14, 2022

Present: R. Burns, D. Johnson, B. Roehrborn, K. Fenske, G. Otto, C. Schmidt, H. Burns, C. Smith, 

Visitors:  David Schauer, Lori Helmrick

Meeting was called to order at 5:00 pm by President B. Roehrborn 

Pledge of Allegiance was said.

R. Burns made a motion, seconded by K. Fenske to approve the February minutes.  Motion approved 5-0.

Treasurer’s Report:  H. Burns gave the treasurer’s report.   R. Burns made a motion, seconded by C. Schmidt to accept the Treasurer’s report.  Motion approved 5-0.   

R. Burns made a motion, seconded by G. Otto to transfer $30,000.00 from the Sewer Money Market to the Sewer Replacement Fund.  Motion approved 5-0.

Finance – D. Johnson gave the finance report.   R. Burns made a motion, seconded by C. Schmidt to pay the bills.  Motion approved 5-0.

Public Input – None

Fire/EMS –G. Otto presented the board with information about billing and receiving payment for fire calls.  They will have a meeting to discuss this further.

Media/Sewer Clerk –We are changing our Domain name according to WEC recommendations.  Will keep everyone posted when this happens.

Equipment – B. Roehrborn signed an intent letter for replacement on our John Deere Lease tractor for this coming year.

R. Burns is looking to get repair costs for the corner of School and County Rd D fixed.  The buses are breaking up the blacktop. He will get back to us with further information.

Properties – Dave has heard back from Patrykus Farms and Liberation Farmers LLC on the letter they received about the grease trap issues.

Ordinance/Personnel – They are going to set up a meeting to go over personnel concerns.

Zoning –Discussion if Jim Johnson should be required to purchase a permit.  The board determined he needs one per our ordinance. 

Cemetery – None

Beautification – Discussion on how our Village Banners are holding up.   How are the brackets holding up also?  Will monitor these issues.

Planning Commission – None

Open Book is set for Monday April 25, 2022 from 1-3pm

Board of Review is set for Monday May 9, 2022 from 3:30-5:30pm

Next Board will be on April 11, 2022 at 5:00pm

G. Otto made a motion, seconded by R. Burns to adjourn.  Motion passed 5-0
