Board Regular Meeting

March 13, 2023

Present: R. Burns, D. Johnson, C. Schmidt, L. Helmrick, G. Otto, H.  Burns, C. Smith, B. Roehrborn

Visitors:  David Schauer,

Meeting was called to order at 5:00 pm by R. Burns

Pledge of Allegiance was said.

D. Johnson made a motion, seconded by L. Helmrick to approve the minutes from the February 13, 2023 board meeting.  Motion approved 5-0.

Public Input – Village has had several compliments on the snow removal and what a good job is being done.

Treasurer’s report – H. Burns gave the treasurer’s report.  G. Otto made a motion, seconded by C. Schmidt to approve the treasurer’s report.  Motion approved 5-0.

Finance Report – D. Johnson gave the finance report.  L. Helmrick made a motion, seconded by C. Schmidt to approve paying the bills.  Motion approved 5-0. 

Fire/EMS – Joint Fire committee met, but nothing approved on the billing procedure as the paperwork has not come back from the lawyers yet.  He is going over the verbiage and creating a resolution.

Public Works – None

Properties – None

Ordinance/Personnel – Some interest in the collection site position.  Applications are now on our web site.

Operator’s license – D. Johnson made a motion, seconded by G. Otto to approve an operator’s license for Jessica Metzger.  Motion approved 5-0.

Zoning – three permits, two concrete projects and a application for changing from residential to business

Cemetery-Nothing 

Beautification – Brackets are fixed. Still looking into banners

Media/Sewer Clerk –Job application and building permit forms are now on line on our web site.  Next sewer billing is going out later this month. Collection site help wanted notice is on the web site.

Planning Committee members will be meeting on March 27, 2023 at 1:00pm to discuss a residential property turned a beauty shop.  Must be rezoned.

Sewer rodder is going to be picked up tomorrow and taken to have the camera unit looked at.

L. Helmrick made a motion, seconded by D. Johnson to adjourn.  Motion approved 5-0
