Board Regular Meeting
December 9, 2024
5:00pm

Present: B. Roehrborn, D. Johnson, D. Schultz, C. Schmidt, L. Helmrick, W. Tomczak, C. Smith, H Burns

Visitors:  None

Meeting was called to order at 5:00 pm by President B. Roehrborn

Pledge of Allegiance was said.

D. Schultz made a motion, seconded by L. Helmrick to approve the minutes from the November 11, 2024 board meeting.  Motion approved 5-0.

Treasurer’s report – H. Burns gave the treasurer’s report.  L. Helmrick made a motion, seconded by D. Schultz to approve the treasurer’s report.  Motion approved 5-0.

Finance report:  D. Johnson gave the finance report.  W. Tomczak made a motion, seconded by D. Schultz to approve the bills.  Motion approved 5-0

Public Input – None

Public Works-A rag had gotten caught in the pump in the pumphouse.  It also has valve problems that need attention.  D. Johnson reported on the completion of LRIP project for Oak St.  Very nice job.  We now have to submit the paperwork to get reimbursed for the project. Committee was asked to come back to the next board meeting with information/quotes on a gas/electric pressure washer and hose kit for the sewer to clean out laterals.

Fire/EMS –Fighter Fire funds purchased a 1979 GMC tender from the Bancroft fire Dept to replace our1986 Tender with a stick and without baffles that no one can drive.  Purchased for $4550.00.  The fire dept will in turn sell our 1986 tender.

Properties –Roof is leaking in the Newby building.  It is coming in by the electrical box.  Asking to get Greg to put something over this.  Need to bring back a plan at the next meeting to fix this.  Also, the Fire station big doors need new seals put around them.  The Fire Station roof also need to be looked at.  Bring back ideas to the next meeting.  D. Schultz asked to go to a wastewater meeting on Tues to get training and hours.

Ordinance/Personnel – None

Equipment –Wheel loader is nearly to go.  Loader is now paid for.  The Village reimbursed the sewer account.

Zoning – None

Cemetery – None

Beautification – None

Media/Sewer – The newsletter will be done this week.  Please read it on line.  A few copies will be around the Village.

Caucus will be held on January 13, 2025 at 4:45 PM

The Collection site will be open on Thursday December 26th instead of the 25th because of Christmas.  The collection site will be open as usual on January 1, 2025.

D. Johnson made a motion, seconded by W. Tomczak to adjourn.  Motion approved 4-0
