Present were: Matt Lemke, Kip Gutke, R. Hetzel, B. Roehrborn, W. Tomczak, Lori Helmrick, Dennis Schultz and Carol Smith

Meeting called to order by R. Hetzel at 7:05pm

Review State Statues Chapter SPS 330 – Fire Department Safety and Health Standards

Reviewed last year -Dennis gave a 2024 Fire & EMR year end report on all the calls and incidents, maintenance items, new equipment purchased and planned new equipment.

Also, discussion items of:  Re Chassis for tender 4, recruitment letter & sign, member intent letter, Health testing for members, state retirement program, personal vehicle insurance, pay for training, grant letter, future leadership, shared revenue.

Discussed sale of Tender 6.  Putting Tender 6 up for sale.  Matt Lemke made a motion, seconded by Lori Helmrick to put it up for sale.  The proceeds to go to the Town & Village of Almond Fire Dept.  Then in turn will reimburse the members with the amount they paid for the truck purchased from Bancroft for $5250.00.  The balance will go into the Village and Town’s equipment funds.  Motion approved.6-0

Discussion was held on trying to get new members.  It was discussed to reimburse all members, new and old for hours to take educational classes for certification/recertification.  It was suggested to pay them at $10.00/hr.  New member certification hours are up to 105 hours for EMS and 96 hours for fire classes.  This will be taken back to the respectful boards for approval.

Brian Roehrborn made a motion, seconded by Kip Gutke to adjourn.  Motion approved.
