Meeting was called to order at 5:00 pm by President B. Roehrborn
Pledge of Allegiance was said.
L. Helmrick made a motion, seconded by D. Johnson to approve the minutes from the September 8, 2025 meeting. Motion approved 5-0
Treasurer’s report – H. Burns gave the treasurer’s report. D. Johnson made a motion, seconded by L. Helmrick to approve the treasurer’s report. Motion approved 5-0.
Finance report: D. Johnson gave the finance report. L. Helmrick made a motion, seconded by W. Tomczak to approve the bills. Motion approved 5-0.
Discussion/Action on operator licenses for Mariah L Waltz and Tara L Neumann for Firecracker Too. L. Helmrick made a motion, seconded by W. Tomczak to approve these licenses. Motion approved 5-0.
Public Input – None
Public Works – Sludge removal – postponed until spring. Dennis made a motion to get on the schedule for the bio treatment for next year. Motion approved 5-0. Discussion was held on updating the electrical panel at the lift station for $2250.00. Dennis made a motion, seconded by L. Helmrick to update the electrical service and install an exterior 50 amp on the outside of the building. Motion approved 5-0. Discussion on putting an automatic starter on the generator at the lift station. Not approved at this time.
Fire/EMS –The generator for the station has been installed. Did pump testing. Discussion was held when upon completion of classes, training for fire and EMS who will pay for what. L. Helmrick made a motion, seconded by D. Warzynski to add a line item onto the fire budget for training and school reimbursement. Motion approved 5-0.
Properties – None
Ordinance/Personnel – D. Warzynski made a motion, seconded by D. Schultz to approve the changes in our Recycling Center and Garbage Disposal Site ordinance. Motion approved 5-0.
The personal committee recommended to increase the wages of clerk from $15.00 to $15.50, Sewer and Media clerk from $12.00 to $12.50, Maintenance Superintendent from $21.50 to $22.50, adding $.50 when he obtains his CDL, Maintenance assistant/sewer helper from $12.00 to $12.50, Snowplow operator from $15.50 to $15.75, Payloader operator from $17.50 to $17.75, snowplow assistants from $14.00 to $14.25, Head collection site operator from $12.00 to $12.50, Collection site worker $11.00-after 90 days to $12.50, cemetery mower from $11.50 to $12.00. L. Helmrick made a motion, seconded by W. Tomczak to approved these wage increases. Motion passed 5-0.
Equipment – The Jetter’s camera is not working.
Cemetery – None
Beautification – L. Helmrick made a motion, seconded by W. Tomczak to get to get another banner if it comes under $185.86 to replace the one lost. Motion passed 5-0
Media/Sewer – None
A Budget workshop meeting will be held on October 15, 2025 at 6:00pm to go over the 2026 budget.
D. Johnson is looking into the LRIP program for doing roads for 2026. Will bring back information at the next meeting.
