February 8, 2016
Board Members Present- B. Roehrborn, J. Riggenbach, R. Burns, K. Olson, S. Bunders.
Visitors- E. Schultz, Dave Glodowski, Dan Folan.
President K. Trzebiatowski called the meeting at 7pm.
B. Roehrborn made a motion and seconded by S. Bunders to amend the January minutes to read that three signatures are required, the President, Clerk and Treasurer will sign checks for the Community Development Block Grant checking account at Bancroft State Bank for the Elm Street project. Motion carried 5-0.
B. Roehrborn made a motion and seconded by J. Riggenbach to approve the January minutes after the amendment. Motion carried 5-0.
S. Bunders made a motion and seconded by K. Olson to approve the Treasurers report. Motion carried 5-0.
K. Olson made a motion and seconded by S. Bunders to approve the February disbursements. Motion carried 5-0.
Dave Glodowski explained the actual Elm St. project and the ad for bids.
K. Olson made a motion and seconded by B. Roehrborn to approve the plans and ad for bids for the Elm St. project. Motion carried 5-0
B. Roehrborn made a motion and seconded by R. Burns to amend the December minutes to read that three signatures are required, the President, Clerk, and Treasurer will sign checks for the Matching Funds checking account at the Bancroft State Bank for the Elm Street project. Motion carried 5-0.
The Board decided to have the Lagoon surveyed.
K. Olson made a motion R. Burns to purchase a New Brush Head for the John Deere Sweeper. Motion carried 5-0.
The Snow Plowing in front of the School was discussed.
R. Burns made a motion and seconded by K. Olson to change Village Ordinance 7-1-2-A to read – No parking of cars or other vehicles will be permitted on Village Streets during active snow removal times. Motion carried 4-1.
K. Olson made a motion and seconded by S. Bunders to change Village Ordinance 7-1-2-B to read – During active municipal snow removal times, the Village will not be responsible for any damage to any car or vehicle that is parked within ten feet of the blacktop or edge of roadway. The owner of any parked car or vehicle will be responsible for the removal of any snow left in avoiding the car or vehicle. Motion carried 5-0.
K. Olson made a motion and seconded by R. Burns to order signs to reflect the 7-1-2-A Ordinance change also signs for 7-1-3-A parking restrictions. Motion carried 5-0.
K. Olson made a motion and seconded by J. Riggenbach to charge a $150.00 Cemetery fee and eliminate the $50.00 grave marking fee. Motion carried 5-0.
K. Olson made a motion and seconded by J. Riggenbach to change 7-1-3-A to take out the last sentence and add Penalty- see 1-1-7. Motion carried 5-0.
R. Burns made a motion and seconded by J. Riggenbach to send Ken and Brian to a Planning Commission Meeting on 3-15-2016 and purchase two Planning Commission Handbooks and one Zoning Handbook. Motion carried 5-0.
K. Olson made a motion and seconded by R. Burns to adjourn. Motion carried 5-0.
