Meeting Minutes

Village Board Meeting May 13, 2012 Members Present:R. Burns,K. Stucker,S.Bunders,K. Olson,D. Helmrick,B. Roehrborn Visitors: Dan Folan, Mary Joost, Roman Heimerl, Jon Pagel President K. Trzebiatowski called the meeting to order at 7pm.
  1. Bunders made a motion and seconded by D. Helmrick to approve the minutes of the April Meeting. Motion carried 5-0.
  2. Olson made a motion and seconded by R. Burns to approve the Treasurers report. Motion carried 5-0.
  3. Roehrborn made a motion and seconded by K. Stucker to approve the May disbursements. Motion carried 6-0.
After much discussion about the closure of 4th St a roll call vote was taken in regard to closure of 4th St. North of Division St. Dorothy H. No- Brian R. No- Richard B. No- Kurt O. No- Spence B. No- Kory S. No.
  1. Olson made a motion and seconded by B. Roehrborn to give the Fire Dept. Permission to sell the First Responder Vehicle if and when a replacement is found. Motion carried 6-0.
  2. Olson made a motion and seconded by S. Bunders to approve the 2013-2014 committees. Motion carried 6-0.
After much discussion on the Lagoon area K. Olson made a motion and seconded by D. Helmrick in exchange for building a new fence along the ridge North of the north pond to give Jon Pagel permission to use land between the new fence and north property line(cut trees, move field road and remove the old fence). Motion carried 6-0. The slab has been poured for the fuel tanks and everything should be done by June 1st.
  1. Burns made a motion and seconded by S Bunders to give the Electric bid for the tanks to Gauge Electric for $2025.00. Motion carried 6-0.
  2. Roehrborn made a motion and seconded by K. Olson to donate all of the old Street signs to the Historical Society. Motion carried 6-0.
  3. Olson made a motion and seconded by S. Bunders to grant an Operators License to Donald Cayce. Motion carried 6-0.
After a review of the Sewer Rates B. Roehrborn made a motion and seconded by D. Helmrick to leave the Sewer rates at the present rates. Motion carried 6-0. Spence Bunders Thanked the Village for the Bench at the Ball Park-it is being used a lot. A letter will be sent to Scott Boelter in regards to garage that is falling down. Next Meeting 6-10-2013 Open Book and Board of Review 6-12-2013 4to6pm 6to8pm
  1. Olson made a motion and seconded by K. Stucker to adjourn at 9:05pm. Motion carried 6-0
