Board Regular Meeting
January 16, 2023
Present: R. Burns, D. Johnson, T. Pagel, G. Otto, L. Helmrick, H. Burns, C. Smith, B. Roehrborn
Visitors: David Schauer, Wally Tomczak, Dennis Schultz
Meeting was called to order at 5:00 pm by President B. Roehrborn.
Pledge of Allegiance was said.
G. Otto made a motion, seconded by L. Helmrick to approve the December 12, 2022 minutes. Motion approved 6-0.
Treasurer’s report – H. Burns gave the treasurer’s report. R. Burns made a motion, seconded by G. Otto to approve the treasurer’s report. Motion approved 6-0.
Finance Report – D. Johnson gave the finance report. G. Otto made a motion, seconded by L. Helmrick to approve paying the bills. Motion approved 6-0. Dave Johnson made a motion, seconded by L. Helmrick to transfer $4835.42 from CD# 7056 to the checking account for operating/maintenance costs. Motion approved 6-0.
Public Input –None
Fire/EMS – Kip is drawing up a billing invoice and will be contacting Marc Bickford for final approval for wording. Joint meeting will be held February 8th for final approval. EMS are in the process of a refresher course.
Public Works – The sewer will be getting the last quarter payments for 2022 this month, plus a few quarterly payments throughout the year that the properties do not have taxes. All the rest of the income will come next January when the taxes are paid.
Street lights are starting to fail. We have a quote from Wilkins Electric LLC to replace all the fixtures. There are six of them. He quotes us $2250.00. G. Otto made a motion, seconded by T. Pagel to accept this quote for replacement of the light fixtures. Motion approved 6-0
The board verified we would be doing tires again this year and electronics next year.

Zoning – None
Cemetery-none
Beautification – Looking to possibly getting donations to help replace the banners that are getting old.
Gear box went out on the sweeper. Dave has it fixed.
Media/Sewer Clerk – Newsletter went out
Board of Review will be held on May 8th, 2023 from 4-6pm
Open Book to be determined yet.
