Board Regular Meeting
July 14, 2025
5:00pm

Present: B. Roehrborn, D. Johnson, D. Warzynski, L. Helmrick, W. Tomczak, C. Smith, H. Burns

Visitors: G. Otto, N. Seaman, Pierce Dopp, L & H Sawizke, Craig Newby, Mark Garlow, Mikayla Garlow

Meeting was called to order at 5:00 pm by President B. Roehrborn

Pledge of Allegiance was said.

Public Input –Pure Property -discussed garbage collection, sewer and taxes.  Will send Pure Property a bill in November for final payment in Lieu of Taxes in 2025 of $750.00.  Pierce Dopp approached the board to inquire about scholarship needs in our area.  Anyone has comments or want to contribute can contact him piercedopp@gmail.com.

Mark & Mikayla Garlow were present-discussed what their plans are for their building.  They will continue to get it fixed up.

Properties – Craig Newby went through the quote he had given us on repairs for doors on our properties. 

L. Helmrick made a motion, seconded by Dyland to accept his quotes for the doors.  Motion approved 4-0

L. Helmrick made a motion, seconded by D. Warzynski to approve the minutes from the June 9, 2025 board meeting.  Motion approved 4-0.

Treasurer’s report – H. Burns gave the treasurer’s report.  D. Johnson made a motion, seconded by L. Helmrick to approve the treasurer’s report.  Motion approved 4-0.

Finance report:  D. Johnson gave the finance report. L. Helmrick made a motion, seconded by W. Tomczak to approve the bills.  Motion approved 4-0. 

Discussion billing rate for the collection site postponed until the August meeting so the Town Board can be present.  

Public Works – Sidewalls will be done in September. Notices to the property owners will about 30 days before in August.

Fire/EMS – Sold Tanker 6 for $7500.00.  Two New EMS members have passed the class and another on is going at this time.  Working on getting a generator for the station.

Ordinance/Personnel –Sent out vehicle violations last month.  Some have been removed. Will be sending out more this month.

Discussion on sand, salt, storage units-continue next month.

Zoning – None

Equipment – Leaf blower tabled

Cemetery – Got a new lawnmower

Beautification – Three banners are done and put up on main street.  These banners were designed by our Almond Bancroft Students.

Media/Sewer – Newsletter will be done this week
